Thanks again to Jeff Sr. for our discussions over in https://www.applianceblog.com/mainf...efrigerator-model-795-51822-411-please.93953/
I'd like to ask whether compressors made in the last few years are now reliable, or has it not been long enough to say?
The reason I'm asking is because somebody raised the possibility that it's not the compressor that was bad but the compressor oil attacking the condensor lining and that it was coming off and corrupting the compressor (see https://www.doityourself.com/forum/...235-sears-fiasco-kenmore-fridge-problems.html)
So if it's a poor material/lining in condensor, then seems you can't fix that in a compressor; or can you?
Thoughts?
Thanks!
