I think this range has always been this way. It was converted to propane when new. I never checked it out. Only one burner will work at a time. The oven won't really light up all the way. It does ignite but never reaches temperature. Very small flame on the top burner.

What do you mean by that? You've had it for more than 10 years and never used it?

Is it connected to propane?

Maybe the conversion wasn't done properly or completely? If none of the burners work correctly, the regulator might be most suspect or maybe the gas supply to the range.

I suggest someone recheck the conversion and/or call a licensed gas repair technician to look into it. You can find the owner's manual at this link. The conversion instructions are in it.

Thanks, I'll look at the link. I removed the button from the regulator and it is stamped "nat" But i read somewhere the pressure for NG and LP is the same?

OK then I need to find a plug that says LP. The directions say to flip it over to where it says LP. Mine ONLY says NAT. I bet that part is not available any longer?

I doubt they sell that separately. It's usually only sold as part of the regulator. Either ask a gas repair technician if they might have a spare leftover one kicking around or the whole regulator may need to be replaced.

Actually, you might want to check with a gas technician anyway. There might be a possibility it may not actually have to be marked LP on the other side. As long as the gas type for one side is specified, the other side may be implied for the other.

I can't tell you that.

Does the plug pull out of the cap? If so what does the other end look like?
The oposite side of the cap is domed in, like a very smooth round hole.. So one side is a button that says "NAT" the other is a hole.
