Hello I have an Admiral ATW 4675YQ1 washer that recently has been banging during the spin cycles.. Its about 5-6 years old.. I have replaced all 4 suspension rods which helped for about a month..now I cant wash a small load with stopping and redistributing the clothes to finish the load..Tub seems to be very loose in side washer..It has worked great untill the last few months..Any ideas?..thanks

Pop the cap off the agitator and remove the 7/16" bolt in the center of the agitator. Pull the agitator straight up and remove it. The inner tub sits on a drive block and is held in place by a spanner nut. Verify the spanner nut is tight.

In my opinion this is a design flaw. I've seen this problem many times on this style machine. Even on a brand new machine, if you try to wash a couple items it will go off balance. The manufactures say you need to have enough items in the tub that they can be distributed evenly around the tub when it spins.
