Eight year old autotrol 255 with 440i timer.
I noticed my brine tank was full of water and when I manually regenerate, I have to rotate the cam to each cycle.
my understanding, is it should rotate by itself using water pressure.
i’ve had several companies tell me to replace the obsolete 440i with a 460 TC.
my current 440i has no stripped gears or anything I can see wrong with it. They also tell me maybe the small motor on the back could be bad. How can that be when I am rotating it manually? Is it time for a rebuild?
