Speed Queen top load washer, model #AWNE82SP113TW01 washer basket not turning or "indexing" during wash cycle. The agitator is going back & forth but the wash basket is staying stationary. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hi Craig,

When did you buy your washer? Because when you first buy Speed Washers it will index until the brake pads set it, which can take a few months, sometimes up to a year depending on how much you use it, Then it will not index anymore, That's normal.:)

Here's the video, it starts at the 26:40 mark, you will see its not indexing:

Got it. Thanks Jake. I've had this machine for about a year now and it's used abt. 3X a week. I've seen several you tube videos showing the counterclockwise indexing of the wash basket during the wash cycle. I was under the impression that this was normal operation. .
