Hello all, looking for any advice available. 12 year old Bosch french door with a drawer freezer. Recently Ice stopped being made...and I noticed ice build up in the freezer. After a lot of youtubing and searching I figured out how to disassemble parts for review.
Started in the fridge and it seems like the electronic flap works still, I am getting water still, ice machine still manually cycles.
I moved today to the freezer and disassembled the back panel to review the evaporators and there are two separated by a metal plate between them. (the right one is solid ice).
I also taped the light switches initially to see if I could see the freezer fan ever running periodically and I did not see it spinning at all.
So, while I have it unplugged so it defrosts, can anyone give me some tips on what to 'test'?
I have an appointment for review but that is 8 days from now.
Any advice is appreciated.
