Bosch SHS5AVF5UC/22, runs through pre-rinse cycle, gives 'clean' beep tone, but does not drain. Soap dispenser has not opened. Unit is three years old and has worked somewhat properly the whole time. Issue began about a month ago. After troubleshooting, I replaced the drain pump. All was well for three weeks, until the same symptom cropped up. The model does not have a display, so I cannot tell if it has an error code.
What I've done this time:
Removed and cleaned filter (I do this weekly)
Verified there is no blockage on drain line
Drained dump, removed the goopy water.
Confirmed the impeller is not impeded.
Confirmed the water inlet is allowing water into dishwasher
REPLACED DRAIN PUMP AGAIN
I still have the issue.
Door appears to close correctly.
If the unit needs a main pump and motor assembly, I will take great zeal in destroying it. (I've never owned a Bosch product I've liked unless it was bolted to my Volvo).
Ideas?
