Hello guys, new to this forum and my first post. I have a Bosch Dishwasher SHU66C02UC/23, been a great washer no problems until yesterday, When I press the power on button everything comes on like it should ( the cycle type, minutes etc) but after a few seconds it turns off, I tried to run the self test cycle but the unit powers off with 3-7 seconds , just like it about to do something but then turns off. I hate to throw it away as its a great unit. I did check the ohms of a few parts like the water flow and heater element showing the right ohms per the service manual. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,

I don't have any training or experience working on Bosch products, but this is the closest thread I located that's similar to your model and your issue:

Its possibly a bad control unit, @jeff1 posted the control unit for your model here: https://www.applianceblog.com/mainf...-dishwasher-repair-in-doubt.45023/post-227104

Hopefully another tech. that works on Bosch "day in and day out" can confirm that for you.

Jake, much appreciated, I will look at the link you provided. I am also hopeful that one of the other expert who work on Bosch will shin on this issue and tell me how to check it before replacing the controller as its 1/2 the cost of a new dishwasher...:) I think this unit was made in 2007, o may be time to evaluate if its worth fixing the unit.
I have posted a real time video that I took on 4/15/2023.
Regards,
Danny K

Yes Danny, I see that in your video.

I agree. Usually if a part cost half the price of a new dishwasher, then its best to save the repair money for a new dishwasher.:)
