Hello, my Bosch 18 inch dishwasher started making a new noise, looking for some advice on my next step.

See attached audio file. I started the recording at the beginning of a new cycle, so that you can hear the entire thing. The buzzing sound starts at about 30 seconds, then changes pitch at the 40, 50, and 60 second points in the recording as the RPM changes. I have checked the drainage impeller and found no blockages. Would appreciate any insight as to what's causing this new noise. Otherwise the dishwasher appears to work okay, no error codes. I would describe it as a buzzing sound as if a motor somewhere is impeded or stressed.

Here is an additional noise it makes a bit further into the cycle. This noise continues throughout the cycle.

Hi,

I haven't worked on or had any training on Bosch appliances. Hopefully another tech. that does work on Bosch appliances can shed some light on this problem for you.

I'm having the exact same problem with my Bosch SPX68U55UC/51. The machine was purchased a little over three years ago and the noise just started last week. I've stopped using the dishwasher as it sounds like the motor will burn out with continued use.

Did you ever figure out what was the cause of the noise?
