Small amount of boiling water spilled on the stove top (perhaps unrelated), alarm sounded, although the panel oven was blinking there was no readable error code. After the alarm stopped there was a red light on but nothing was accessible on oven panel. Oven control panel is now totally off. Oven light inside oven is still on, so there is power. Resetting circuit did nothing. Gas range still works. Took off the oven panel front but control is still well attached. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Alright update on the problem with Bosch Dual Range HDI8054U. The oven control board works. I can turn on the oven light and turn the oven on, set the oven temperature and start the preheat sequence. However there is no light on the touch panel indicating what's on, temp. etc. So does this mean I have to replace the entire oven control panel just because the light is burned out?

Hi,

We don't have any Bosch tech. data information or service manuals, they tend to keep a tight lid on that.

So we don't know what voltage you should be getting to the control panel from the control board, so hopefully another tech that works on Bosch day in and day out can shed some light on this.

The control panel is very expensive, its #113 here: Parts for Bosch HDI8054U/03: Cooktop Parts

And its out-of-stock to boot.
