Hello all-

We bought our house in October and noticed the oven cooked very fast and burned almost everything. We started adjusting temps and times from recipes to accommodate. Recently I put a thermometer in the oven just to see how off it was, and realized the problem. Whether the oven is set at 225 or 350 it heats to 500+ degrees. I ordered a temp probe replacement but that hasn’t fixed the problem.

After disassembling the interface portion of the oven, there are 2 boards Inside that I can see. A larger green control board and a smaller black board. Which should I order and try to replace?

Thanks!

Brian

Jake thank you so much for taking the time to research that and answer my question. Mine appears to be an /09, I’ll order the second one and try to replace it. That website seems to offer a great return policy too if it doesn’t fix the problem. Thanks again!!

Sounds good Brian, let us know how it goes!

Remember to unplug or turn the breaker off to your machine before you start.:)

I’ve been on vacation so hadn’t had a chance to attempt this repair. I’m happy to say I put the new board in this morning in about 5 minutes and it appears to have fixed my issue! My oven preheated to 325 in about 14 minutes and after 30 minutes was still at 325! Plus I can actually hear relays clicking off and on unlike before.

Thank you Jake for saving me from replacing my Bosch wall oven!!
