• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Our microwave oven door sticks or hangs. To look at it it is crooked or cocked in the opening. Is there any adjustment to these doors? I could not see any. Have no reason why this should be this way as it has not been hit or abused in anyway. Looks like it might have just sagged under it's own weight. Maybe just a poor design.
Thanks,
Russ

Hi,

I found HMB8050-01 & HMB8050-02

Is there any adjustment to these doors?
Not really, remove power, remove outer shell and see if the hinges have screws that can be loosened to adjust the door a little and then re-tightened.
