Our washer frequently displays "drainage blocked"; usually we just start the cycle over and the problem does not reappear. We assumed that it was a "too many suds issue" and reduced the detergent to less than a quarter cup but we still have this problem. Separately, we often find water pooled in the bottom of the drum after a complete cycle. The two issues don't seem to present on the same load; if there is a common denominator it might be larger loads.

Our unit is two years old and has presented these conditions more frequently in the last year. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Whats the model# of your washer?

Does the washer drain into a regular drain stand in your home? Some folks have the their drain hoses hooked-up to something else for drainage that many be longer, When I worked in Texas lots of folks used the drain water to water their yard or something similar, thus it would take more time to drain from the washer.
