Brand new KitchenAid KRFC300ESS Freezer frosted up and light not working

Just got this refrigerator and believe we followed all the rules or recommendations for installing and setting up. We have frost as seen in attached pics that is built up around and near the switch for the light. I don't see issues with gaskets or blocked vents. Don't think the doors were left open too long or opened too frequently. Defrost it and see what happens? Refrigerator and freezer set at recommended temps. I don't see excess moisture.

Usually that's caused by a air leak coming in. See the freezer door gasket has a gap in it at the top there.

At any rate you will need to contact KitchenAid at 1-800-422-1230 because its still in warranty and they will come out and fix it for free.
