I was heating up the lower oven in a microwave/convection and oven combo, when something fried (I could smell it). Now the broiler element in the lower oven wont heat. Everything else seems to work fine.
Tested resistance in the oven temp sensor, high temp limiter/thermal cut-off fuse, and the broiler element. I tested the ground on oven temp sensor as well.
Tech said it was the user interface WPW10317350, but that didn't fix it.
Recommendations?

Corrected model number

I can find no such model number. The closest I found was KEMS309BSP01. I see the title has the full model number

Tech said it was the user interface Wpw10317350

Someone actually looked at it?

The user interface rarely does any actual work on the appliance other than setting the cooking modes.

The model KEMS309BSP01 has a relay board (aka "GOC Appliance Manager") that does the actual switching of power to the components like elements, etc. The relay board would be much more likely to be responsible if the element checks out Ok and the bake element still functions normally. The thermal cutoff should stop both bake and broil at the same time if it failed.
