I have an Inglis washer that is making a loud buzzing sound when it is emptying and it does not spin. Here's what I have done. It was not emptying. After checking I found that the lid safety switch screw mount was broken. When I pressed it with my hands it returned to normal. Being a smart a.. I decided I would just remove it and connect the wires together....not such a good idea I guess. I have re-attached the switch and it will empty but makes a loud buzzing noise but it will not spin at all. Could I have fried something else?
