Hello. I'm having a mini fridge with freezer combo driven to my home and don't want to damage it. I've researched online and found conflicting info on whether it's safe to lay a fridge on its side during transport, and if so which side is safe to lay it on. Here's a picture of the mechanics in the back of mine. In your expertise, if I need to, should I lay it on side A or B or neither? Thanks a lot.

Make: Arctic King 3.2cu.ft 2 Door compact refrigerator

I believe onto side A would be best. Tape the door shut so it doesn't fly open. Secure the shelves. Try to keep it on its side for as little time as possible.

Leave it stand upright at room temperature for at least an hour before plugging it in again. Longer wouldn't hurt.

There is oil in the compressor. It will seep into the refrigerator lines when it's on its side. If there's any oil left there after restanding, it would be best in the lines going back to the compressor rather than the compressor pumping it through the rest of the system to clog it up.

It looks like that side of the refrigeration system is on the left... as near as I can tell from the picture. You might get away with laying it on either side but that side might be the best choice.
