Can a tech recommend a reliable well built propane gas range for me?

I have an older model GE Gas Range JGBP26GEJ4AD from the eighties which is well made and has been incredibly reliable. My wife wants a new stove and despite my trying to convince her that none of them are as well made she insists.

Having serviced them can one of you recommend a reasonably well made brand (or model) that won't have obsolete parts in four years? I know the electronic controls seem to be the most trouble prone parts on the newer ones besides the thinner metal so any type of control is OK with me.

How much more? If they are worth it, I don't mind. I want something built at least a little like the old ones. Example: I went through this with my washer. I couldn't find one built like the old Whirlpool direct drive so I bought a commercial Speed Queen.
