Hi,
I've read through a couple of threads here, mostly involving Jake, trying to troubleshoot the apparent lack of power to the top panel controls on my GDT695SSJ2SS dishwasher:
Original issue was no LEDs, and was reset once by throwing the breaker. It happened again two runs later. I have not been able to get the top panel to respond since, no LEDs, and it won't go into error mode or service mode. I verified AC power at the j-box of 125VAC. I pulled the machine control and verified that the Service LED on that is lit, constantly. I checked voltage on the DC supply (J722 pins 2 and 5) and had 14.1 VDC.
It's at this point I have an issue because I've got conflicting information on the next step:
I'll also add that I inherited this unit with my house and this is my first troubleshooting event, and that when I opened the dishwashers AC junction box to check VAC the ground wire came loose before I even had a chance to turn the wire plug. So, poor job there. The unit has run without problem for more than 3.5 years, and things were tight in the box so I suspect the ground contact did not come loose until I opened it, but I'll post that in case anyone thinks it's pertinent.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any guidance on clarifying this issue and possibly getting my unit fixed.
Thanks very much.

- GE Dishwasher GDT695SSJ2SS front panel no lights
- FIXED GE Dishwasher GDT695SSJ2SS, no lights on front panel

- The service guide I have indicates that a steady-on Service LED indicates "Software error; replace machine control board" while
- Jake suggested to another poster that if the S LED is steady on and there is 14 VDC on J722, the problem is with the UI Control board.
