The refrigerator started making noise, loud fan type, then started warming up.
After a power outage for 12 hours, it ran perfectly for a few days.
Started warming up again.
I read a previous thread here, and "Jake," suggested replacing the main board, and perhaps the display board.

Can someone confirm the correct board part numbers?

There is a kit to replace both, part# 5303918584, but it does not specify the individual board part#'s.

Now we would be guessing what is wrong with this refrigerator the main board is part number 5303918558 and goes in like in this video.And the user interface would depend on the color of user interface.So there are two parts no kits.Electrolux FGHB2869L Refrigerator Main Power Board - Diagnostic Repair - YouTube

The user interface if bad, part number depends on the color.I think yours is silver? can be found here for the part # part 38c. and can be bought at AppliancePartsPros.Com.

Thanks for the reply. My interface is black.

The reason I inquired about the kit, is that another thread on this forum I found with a search suggested one that the boards looked the same, but of course, there are differences based on the model of the refrigerator. I was just trying to confirm that the recommended kit parts, matched the specified board parts. The webstore listed the kit as a separate part number, with no specific reference to the model #. I come with that two piece kit is not compatible with your model number. You could called either of the two companies but my look up says there not compatible.Sorry.But that video is how the main board goes in.Hope that helps.

p.s. had two big bucks in my lawn today, well, they're going to be later this fall. they were sporting some pretty good sized fuzzy horns already!

Just remember if you order from RepairClinic.com or AppliancePartsPros.com and it does not fix your problem you can return it less the shipping. Also live in a rural area on 3 acres of land loaded with deers ,bears and wild turkeys.I think more deer get kill by cars then get shot.You got to be always looking for one or more to jump out in the front of the car while driving.
