Dishwasher stops in mid cycle with no control panel lights then comes back on after it cools down.

This is an older KithchenAid but still runs and cleans good. It had this same problem last year so I replaced the thermal fuse with wires and the unit worked wonderfully for about 6 months but now it is doing the same thing again. So I found if I set up a fan to blow on it while I run it, it didn't overheat. That was working for a while but then it was longer and longer between cooling off periods and running periods. So I replaced the thermal fuse again (should have checked for continuity first). But the fix didn't work this time. What should I check next? Is there some kind of relay like maybe the one in the air vent assembly (Vent 8545533, RepairClinic Item #1018775) that is overheating prematurely? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
Hi,

It sounds like a relay overheating on the control board and shutting down. Turn the breaker off to your dishwasher then open the control panel and look at the control board to see if you find any burnt spots on it.
