This is an older KithchenAid but still runs and cleans good. It had this same problem last year so I replaced the thermal fuse with wires and the unit worked wonderfully for about 6 months but now it is doing the same thing again. So I found if I set up a fan to blow on it while I run it, it didn't overheat. That was working for a while but then it was longer and longer between cooling off periods and running periods. So I replaced the thermal fuse again (should have checked for continuity first). But the fix didn't work this time. What should I check next? Is there some kind of relay like maybe the one in the air vent assembly (Vent 8545533, RepairClinic Item #1018775) that is overheating prematurely? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
