Display only lights up with 8's

I have a Whirlpool refrigerator, model # GI5FSAXVY02
After turning off and on the main breaker in my home, I noticed that my refrigerator display was not lit up like it always is. The refrigerator moter is not working, though power is going to the unit. When I press any button on the display panel, it will show 8888 8888. I have tried to reset the unit by pressing the door alarm button and the freezer temperature down button for 3 seconds, without success. The display lights up, then goes out as soon as I let go of the buttons.

Do you think it is the controller board that is the problem, or the display board? Or perhaps I'm not reseting the refrigerator properly? Please help me.

Sounds like your main control board that's located in the very back of your refrigerator.
