I have GE double oven PGS960SEL1SS, BOTH of the ovens heat up perfectly during the Pre Heat cycle. It displays that it has preheated to the correct temp. This description happens for both top and bottom ovens.
The temperature is not staying constant. At the time of displaying the correct preheat temp.. If I hit cancel after reaching preheat number and then restart bake it will show a lower temperature (350 preheat, 242 or something else temp). Even though just before hitting cancel it showed the correct temp. It will start climbing after this action. It might reach the desired temp or it may not. If it does reach the pre-heat designated number, it does not mean it is staying at that temperature. I have went through the cancel/restart many times.
I thought it was just the top and replaced the temp sensor, but this action happens for both top and bottom ovens.
What might be affecting top and bottom? How to test?
