I have an old (maybe 15) whirlpool quiet partner II DU941PWKQ1. This morning I went to clean out the dishes and noticed a lot of water still in it. I thought I would try to just run the cycle again and see what happens.

When I pressed the normal wash button it seemed fine for a little bit then stopped. It continued to run for about 5 seconds then stop for about 1 minute. It did this for about 45 minutes (5 seconds on 1 minute off) then said the dishes were clean, the dishwasher still didn't drain. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi,

I'd first look at your control board and see if you notice any burnt spots on it.

If so you'd need to replace the control board and that will fix it.

Here's the control board for your model you can order:
Main Control Board WP8530929

There is a video in the control board part link that shows you how to access it. Turn the breaker OFF to your dishwasher first!

Let us know what you find.
