About 6 weeks ago my Samsung dryer wasn't heating up, but the drum was spinning like normal. Took it apart and replace pully assembly, thermistor, heating coils. After that worked like a charm, until 2 days ago. Again no heat, but ran like normal. Found the thermistor had blown again and waiting for part to be delivered today. I'm concerned there is another problem somewhere else that is causing this issue. Any thoughts would else could be causing this problem?

Hi,

When you say thermistor, do you mean the thermal fuse? This one:

Did you check for a vent restriction?

The number 1 cause of a thermal fuse to blow out is a vent restriction either in the vent exhaust hose in the back of the dryer or outside where the vent duct vents outside.

Whenever I replace the thermal fuse I always Pull the dryer out from the wall, then check that vent exhaust hose for lint clogs, and go outside the house and do the same where it vents outside.

Ok, our other tech bigbuck posted what else could cause this no heat issue:
