• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

    From Jeff's site: http://www.applianceaid.com/component-testing.php

Ok. I'm at a loss. Microwave suddenly has no power unless I push the power saver button in. It will work then, but the fan runs non stop. I get a message that it is on due to high heat and will shut off automatically, but it never shuts off, unless I push power saver again which cuts off all power. I have checked all fuses and tried replacing the main board, but this had no effect. Help?

We get that in Las Vegas during Summer. Customer complains, " I was in bed last night and all of a sudden the fan went on without me touching or cooking anything"
As Jake said possibly the control board or the Cavity Thermal Cutoff TCO
