FIXED DW80K5050US Door latch replaced, now won't consistently start

The door latch to the DW broke. Ordered replacement part and a new rubber door seal. Door closes/cycle selection panel works, but now we inconsistently hear the telltale "click" before the steady blue light to activate the cycle (ie the unit still thinks the door is ajar).

Is there a magnetic sensor somewhere that isn't closing a contact?

What was the part number of the door latch switch assembly you installed?

The manufacturer has replaced part number DD81-01629A with part number DD81-02132A

Nope.

Yes., I did replace the switch with the updated part number.

So far, I've been able to isolate the problem to some flex in the door from slightly overtightening the T-20 screws. It seems to be working better, but I'm surprised it's that sensitive.
