FIXED E24 on Bosch Dishwasher SHP65T75UC/09

My Bosch dishwasher is throwing E24 error sometime but it’s more and more common.

When it throw the error, there’s a lot of water in the tub and it’s obviously not draining.

I can move freely the draing pump impeller, I tried to use a shop vac to vaccum from the drain hose.

I was about to order a new drain pump to try to see if it would resolve the issue, but I heard it’s very rare for a drain pump to fail.

When there’s the E24 it doesn’t want to drain. I here some clicking but no water coming out of the drain hose.

Any idea?

I measure the resistance of the drain pump and it is 138 OHM

Also I can hear the pump draining for a few minutes, but barely any water is draining out. I havent found any clog in the system yet.

I've never been trained on Bosch Appliances, I'm just going by what others have mentioned for those 2 error codes.

If your not able to fix it per those 2 posts, you will likely need to have Bosch come out and fix it for you.

So here’s what I did

Check the drain pump, didn’t see anything wrong

Use the shopvac to vaccum from both end of the drain hose and also blow from the drain pump side of the hose.

I believe there might have been some stuff stuck in the water matrix.

Now the dishwasher drain correctly and much much faster than before.

I ran 7 load without issue since then and I believe the issue is resolved for now.
