Please help! Water dispenser and hollow ice cube problem

Water from my water dispenser was flowing out of the fridge slowly. It would take 1 minute 20 seconds to fill a 16oz cup of water. Ice cubes were hollow as well. I replaced the filter and before the filter filled up with water, the residual water post filter housing came screaming out of the dispenser then was spitting air while the new filter filled up. Now that the new filter is full of water, the dispenser is back to slowly dispensing water. Any ideas?

Hi Chad,

You first need to check the water pressure from your home water supply line before it goes into the water inlet valve at the back of the refrigerator.

Pull the refrigerator out from the wall, then turn your water supply line off, then remove the water supply line, then get a bucket or container to catch water in, test the water pressure from your supply line into the bucket, should have good water pressure force coming out, not a weak stream.

If its a weak steam, then the problem is in your water supply line.
