Yesterday, we found a puddle of water under and in front of the refrigerator on the right side mostly. (No water lines there....)
I turned off the water supply to the water filter, water and ice. No more puddles.
I checked the drip pan and it is quite dry.
I checked the freezer drip tube and there is no indication of accumulated water or ice in the freezer there.
I checked the water lines and they look OK.
I turned the water supply back on and haven't seen anything now for at least a couple of hours.
I found the heat exchanger quite clogged with dust bunnies and cleaned it off.
If there's no more water on the floor then what happened?
What's the most likely cause of this?
