I have 2 unusual things happening with my washer, same problem but 2 different scenarios, can't replicate the problem on command. 1st one is sometimes when you push the power bottom it starts the machine as if it is in mid cycle. Has 1 min displayed on the panel and starts filling it with water. 2nd one is after a wash is done, machine is off, no lights or time on display, open the door to put clothes in dryer and if you close the washer door it'll start filling but there is no power on display. You have to hit the power button and then it'll turn on display and it'll say 1 min at which time you can stop the washer with the cancel button. Checked codes and I'm getting an E71

E71--->Drum water NTC failure--->Refer to test (13)

TEST 13--->Check the resistance of the water NTC. Is it around 4.8K ohms?

No, replace the NTC sensor
Yes, check the wiring.

The water NTC is the little plastic part on the element that you ohm test with your meter.

Look at this photo, see the plastic part on the left side between the left element terminal and ground terminal, that's the NTC, ohm that. Unplug your washer first before ohm testing.

If life ever slows down long enough for me to take it apart and check it, I will test it out and let you know!

Sensor tests good. Wiring up to board test good. Judging by other weird auto start problems, guessing the motherboard is going out.

Yes, then it's probably the main control board.

Here's the main control board for your model: 5304505520

So either I have bad luck or I'm missing something. Bought the new main control board, part numbers match but when I install it, it gives me an e92 code. Is there a programming step I'm missing?

It should be Plug and Play.

Did you order it from my link to it above at AppliancePartsPros?
