Hello all,

I have an Electrolux EIFLS20QSW Front Load Washing Machine purchased in 2017. This washing machine was operating perfectly until about 3 weeks ago. The machine now pauses about 5-10 minutes into the normal cycle. I then hit the pause/play button and the normal cycle continues. After about another 10 minutes after I hit the play button, the machine will stop and read "check the tap 1" on the info panel.

I checked the water pressure of the hot and cold lines and they are strong. I also substantially cleaned the plastic filters that rest in the connection of the washing machine where the water lines connect. I also cleaned the water filter at the bottom right corner of the machine and ensured the drain hose line is at the proper angle.

I don't know what to check or do next.

It is strange because I see water spraying into the chamber of the machine fine. I also see water coming out of the drain hose okay. Also, 1 out of every 5 attempts on a normal cycle will finish the cycle fine. Also, the "fast wash" and "spin and rinse" cycles seem to complete 90% of the time.

I was thinking that the water valve system may need to be replace but that doesn't make sense to me if the cycles complete on the shorter cycles and if I see water spraying into the chamber just fine.

Does anyone have any trouble shooting strategies or ideas as to what the problem is? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately we can't locate the service manual or tech. data sheet for this model, but all machines come with them, look under the top panel for it.

Other than that, Its best to contact Electrolux at (877) 435-3287 to come out and get to the bottom of this.
