Electrolux time display going out

I installed an Electrolux double wall oven 2 months ago and the last didgit in the time display is going out. 2 months...really!?

Just dumbfounded! $3000 and the clock display cant make it past 2 months. Goodness only knows what hoops I'll have to jump through to get it fixed and I have to wonder if it's even worth the effort.

Yes, thats very unusual for the display to go bad so soon.

I've got a repair person coming to replace the display. They gave me a time window of 5 hours, can you believe that, 5 hours! Luckily I have the day off, but wow asking people to be home from 11 to 4 is a little ridiculous.

I'll let you know how it turns out. Fingers crossed.

I've got a new Samsung refrigerator that has a freezer section that is frosting over big time also but I dont know if I have the stamina to fight Samsung's "customer service" as I understand it's among the worst.

My advice to anybody wanting to replace their appliances is dont if you can possibly get by with your existing appliances because it seems to me that all that is made these days is overpriced junk.
