I have been ignoring the F-1 status of my range and have not been using my oven for quite a while. (I have a restaurant and don't cook at home much). Now, I want to fix it.

From reading all the threads, I believe it was the thermostat that went first (erratic heating, not reaching temp, etc)and prompted the F-1 code. It had coded F-1 before, but went away. Now, I can't for the life of me find the plate w/ the model #. It was bought used (gee, I wonder why...) so there is no manual. I have a feeling I have to pull it out to find the #. It is not in any of the usual spots. Any ideas?

Thanks!
