Hello,

my gas range, Jenn-Air Gas Range model: JGS8850ADS series: 16006837GE, gets an error F3-1 about 15-20 min after oven is heated up to e.g., 400 degree.
and sometimes got F1-1 error when I tried to heat up the oven again after F3-1 error. The errors remains after temperature sensor got changed.

The oven even beeped even when it's not in use, turns-off power supply for 10 min can stop the oven beeping when it is not in use.

how should I do troubleshooting and what's failure part(s) causing errors ?

Thanks

Ming

Hi Ming,

All those errors code relate to the oven sensor, and if you installed a new oven sensor and you are still getting them, then you clock oven control board is the culprit.

But its been discontinued:

Jake,

Thanks for your reply.

oven temperature sensor was replaced using a part from Sears but still got those error codes.

is there a replacement or substitute for the part WP74007217 ?

here is Touchpad and Control Panel for the range
WP74005739

and there is an electric circuit thing connected to the touchpad and control panel when I dismantle the panel.
Should I get a new electric circuit thing, which is connected to the pane; ?

I have no clue what you are referring too.

Ming, you can't fix this range, the part you need has been discontinued.

Its time to go Range shopping.:)

Jake,

there is no clock at the electric circuit connecting between hardware and touch pad control board, as the part you mentioned.
clock is on the touch pad control board on my range.
