Please!! I need help. When I press Start on my Frigidaire FAFW3801LW0 front load washer gets a little of water but then do not do anything else. All the lights stays on but the sensing light stays off. The washer doesn’t advance to the washer cycle, it stays on sensing. I already change the lock system because de code error was E41. When I change the part, I do a reset but the error code stays the same. I need to know if it is the control board or if I need to check something else. Thanks.

Did you check your door strike? You can compare your door strike to the new one below, if one of the two ends are broken, that would also cause this issue.

Here's the door strike for your model:
Door Strike 131763310

E41 - Control board thinks the door switch is open. - Refer to test (6)

Test 6:
1. Is the loading door closed
2. In the J2 plug on the console control, measure voltage from the black wire to ground with power on

No. Close the door.
Yes. Go the step (2)
0 volts. Check the door strike. If good, replace the door switch assembly.
120 volts. Replace the console control board

Here's the console control board for your model:

It doesn’t work. Now the code is E59. I saw the test and it says to change the speed control board. I want to know if I need to get a new one or if I change the speed control board, it will work??
Thank you!!

Ok, its hard to believe both boards got fried, that's basically unheard of unless you had a extreme power surge or power spike.

Ok. Thank you!!! It was a power strike. The electricity stayed lower for about one minute and after the electricity diminished, it came back with the same power.
But thanks!!

Ok, Thanks for letting us know that. You can weigh the cost to replace both boards per the cost of a new washer.

E59=No tacho signal for 3 seconds. Usually that's a bad motor(speed) control board.

Disconnect the plug from the drive motor and measure the resistance between pins 4 & 5 in the motor--->If the meter reads other than between 80 & 130 Ohms, replace the motor.
If the reading is between 80 & 130 Ohms, Go to step (4).

Step (4)--->Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings (pin 1 to pin 2, pin 1 to pin 3, pin 2 to pin 3). All readings should be between 4 and 6 Ohms--->If the readings are correct, replace the speed control board. If the readings are incorrect, replace the motor.

Here's the motor speed control board for your model:

We do the step 4 and all the reads where between 4 and 6 Ohms.
I really appreciate your help. We will try to find the speed (motor) control board.
