• ** REMEMBER! **The microwave can still shock you even unplugged!!

ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Hi,

The fan and light comes up when door is open, when locked no light or fan, only Magnetron is on(i suppose). I have changed all the micro switches. Tried all the trouble shooting whatever i have seen in google search.

What could be the issue? Is it front control panel or wiring? I do not have wiring diagram for this model.

I doubt may be have wrongly connected wires?? on the control panel. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi,

Missing a digit?
I got NN-T795SF to come up for me.
A counter top microwave.

I have changed all the micro switches.

Door switches?....did any check as being bad?

The fan and light comes up when door is open, when locked no light or fan,

Can be a door switch, door switch mechanism, door key, burnt/shorted wire or smart board issue.

Hi Jeff,

you are right, it is NN-T795SF - sorry about that missing letter.

Yes, Door switches, all three of them replaced with replacement parts. I checked them with multi meter, and it is fine.

Can be a door switch, door switch mechanism, door key, burnt/shorted wire or smart board issue.

I did not remember exact wiring - so i suspect when i did not correctly reinserted them back. I am afraid, even if, I invest on board, i may land up in trouble by burning new board as well. Is it ok, if i buy an front panel board and try?

Regards,

Rafi

May not be worth trying...

E49 key anal shows available.
E41 control board shows NLA ( No Longer Available ).
E42 power board shows available.
E43 base shows NLA.

Part of the control board is coming back as not available...might be best to invest in a different unit.
