Please help... replaced the main pump motor, and all worked fine for weeks. Then suddenly unit quit drying and sanitizing load. Pulled kick panel off, and pulled unit out. Noticed a carbon pile slightly forward and to left of entire unit.

Having trouble finding anything relative as far as parts and or similar situations.

Please advise, thanks in advance!!!

Sounds like your heating element possibly went out. You can ohm test it to verify that first.

Here's the video to access/replace it:

Make sure the breaker stays OFF to your dishwasher, then remove the 2 wires from it, then ohm test it with a multimeter per this video:

Here's the heating element for your model:

Let us know how it goes.

Jake,

Thanks for the reply.

Turns out it was the high limit thermostat. That was the carbon pile I found under the unit. Part shorted out, found carbon marks on a terminal. Replaced, ran test with sanitize, high temp, and dry selected. Unit worked just fine, knock on wood!

That is very odd, no one else has mentioned this, I have no clue, sorry.

Try it on your android or iphone and see if you get the same results.
