After a power outage my Frigidaire stove is showing 'FAct' on the display. I have tried unplugging it for 30 minutes but the same message appears. I've also tried pressing each of the buttons but nothing happens. The stove top still works just fine.

I'm happy to have found this forum after searching what feels like endlessly on Google where I haven't been able to locate any information on this.

Is there a possible fix for this or does it sound like I will need to replace the control board? Thank you!

I am not aware of such a fault code. I've never seen nor heard of it. It might indicate something else, maybe a phrase like "Factory... ".

If cycling power again didn't reset it, the control is likely internally defective and does likely need to be replaced.
