Freezer is less then 2 years old - Totally quit working other than the interior light and blinking green light.
I have replaced the main control board because the green light was constantly flashing after resetting. No amount of time after reset did or would the freezer begin to work.
I put the unit into service mode. After entering service mode nothing happened.
According to the info, Test 1 the compressor & condenser fans should turn on as soon as service mode is activated. They did not
I further checked the power at the condenser fan and had 120 volt when the main control board was hooked up & when I would unhook the main control board, I had 0 volts at the fan.
Being the fan is 120 volt I took it out and applied 120 volt to it and it did nothing.
My question is would the main control board sense this and not allow anything else to turn on because of the condenser fan being bad?

FYI I was unhooking the main control board & hooking it back up at the quick disconnect that is beside the condenser quick disconnect

You followed these instructions below with magnet first?

Here's your tech. data sheet: https://ecommcdnprod.azureedge.net/...product_support/FFF/FFFU20F2VW0/A14365701.pdf

To Enter Service Mode:
Open the door.
• Using a permanent magnet, activate the magnetic switch 4 times within 2 seconds, holding the forth activation against the magnetic switch until a long beep is heard and the interior AC LED Light bulb turns on.
• Move the magnet away from the magnetic switch.
The internal light will turn off indicating the unit is in service mode.
NOTE: When service mode is entered, the green power on indicator light will remain on.
• Using the permanent magnet, activate the magnetic switch 2 times to terminate the current test and activate the next test. Two beeps will sound confirming the service mode has advanced to the next test.
• Test 1: Compressor and condenser fan: The compressor and condenser fan turns ON as soon as service mode is activated.

Being the fan is 120 volt I took it out and applied 120 volt to it and it did nothing.
My question is would the main control board sense this and not allow anything else to turn on because of the condenser fan being bad?
Not That I'm aware off, bench testing the condenser fan motor with 120 volts should of made it run.

Here's the condenser fan motor for your model:

Here's the main control board for your model:

Jake - Thank you sir for your prompt reply!
Yes, I entered the service mode per the tech data sheet.
Per that sheet - • Test 1: Compressor and condenser fan: The compressor and condenser fan turns ON as soon as service mode is activated.
The compressor & condenser fan didn't come on. Thus, the reason I took the fan out and tested it with 120 volts. It didn't run then either.
So, I'm assuming it is bad.
According to the wiring schematic it looks like everything is tied to the main control board.
Being the compressor didn't come on either or at least try to was the reason I asked about the main board sensing that issue and causing the compressor not to start
and protecting it from burning up?
I have already replaced the main control board as mentioned above and assume it is working correctly now because I have a constant green light now as was the case
before the freezer quit working.
I appreciate your expertise help
Thanks in advance

Ok Larry,

That's very strange, I don't know what else would cause this to happen.

Hopefully another Frigidaire tech. has seen this happen and can shed some light on it.

Other than that, its best to contact Frigidaire support at 1-800-374-4432 and have a authorized tech come out, authorized Frigidaire techs have a special TECHLINE to the factory to get them involved to find the root cause of this.
