The bottom tub of my dishwasher is filling with water. I already determined the issue is the water inlet valve running constantly. The door open and the float both shut this off so it is not flooding my kitchen. The valve seems to be operating properly but when I test the plug that goes into the valve it is getting constant power and so I believe this is holding it open.
I'm leaning towards it being a circuit board issue but before I spend the money I was wondering what your thoughts and ideas are.
A side note trying to trick the door into thinking it was open I broke the latch :stupid:

Hi,

The valve seems to be operating properly but when I test the plug that goes into the valve it is getting constant power and so I believe this is holding it open.
The fill valve is getting 120 volts all of the time?
If yes, I can't think of anything besides the board that could do that.
