Our Frigidaire dishwasher will run for approximately 80% of a cycle and then give an i20 error. We tried verifying there were no clogs in the piping and cleaning the pressure sensor, but we didn't have any luck. After cleaning, the dishwasher hums like it is trying to drain, but it doesn't do anything. We just pulled the drain pump out. It rotates, but not freely. It seems to click into place every half rotation after a little resistance. Is this the expected behavior? I'd like to not order more parts than necessary.

Is the water in the tub and when the drain cycle starts it does not drain at all? Can you feel any vibration from the drain pump with your hand like its trying to work , but nothing?

Also, when you remove the drain hose from under the sink and get a bucket/container and put the drain hose in it, It drains fine into the bucket? If so, then it must be a clog in the sink or garbage disposal preventing the drain water from flowing into it.
