    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Hello, I have noticed for the past 2 weeks that the LED display (clock) that the bottom 1/2 of the numbers are fading away, my question is can I replace what is needed without pulling the entire unit down, and could someone possibly help with with the correct part number needed ?? The model # is FGMV174KFB

Yes, just need to lower the consol part and leave the rest of the unit installed.....power off first!
