    ALWAYS discharge the high-voltage capacitor first if you even think your hands will come close to any HIGH VOLTAGE components.

    Jeff mentions this: Anything in the high voltage ( magnetron, capacitor, diode, wires to and from ):
    ...Use a metal ( not the shiny chrome type ) screw driver with a insulated handle to short across ( touch both at the same time ) the terminals of the high voltage capacitor to discharge it.

Hello All,

I have F-Gallery Series

Model # FGMV175QFA

When I open the door of the microwave when its on the breaker trips. I have the microwave on its on own breaker and still having issues. I called Frigidaire and stated its a safety feature.

Check the door interlock switches with a meter by opening and closing the door. The monitor switch, also known as a dead man switch, shorts L1 and N together to keep the microwave from working if the door is open. When the door is open power to the monitor switch is interrupted by the other microswitch.
