So, I got to this one after someone had already tried/failed. Symptom: The washer starts and runs thru the cycle until spin. Then nothing. This is the strange thing. The repair person before me thought it was the switch. (top load stackable washer) He replaced the switch and ran through the cycle and at some point the switch burned out. Overloaded (short???) So, with the non functional switch, the washer still goes thru the cycle and stops at spin. What next? Any help appreciated. muchos gracias

It sounds like the switch might have been miswired. You have the lid lock and the lid switch. The lid lock uses the current to warp the bimetal that locks the lid. If you get the wires reversed it will burn up the switch. I speak from experience...lol. Of course, you realize it's been discontinued.

Thank you for the wiring diagram. Do you know a root cause for spin cycle failure? I just hope to make only one more trip to location. Thanks.

The lid lock switch for that model is No Longer Available:
134101800 Lid Lock Switch Assembly

Where did the other tech get that lid lock switch from since its NLA?

The lid lock switch is in series with the main motor.
