I have a Frigidaire dish washer (Model FDB1050REC2) that has been working very well for the last few years. Recently I am seeing water coming out of the steam vent on the front door. The amount of water is sizable as it generates a pool of water below the dish washer at the end of the cycle. I replaced the upper spray arm thinking that might be throwing water in the wrong direction but that did not help.

Last wash, I placed aluminum foil through the door to cover the vent from the inside. That run turned out to be a dry run.

I wanted to know what the cause of this is and how can I fix it permanently.

Thanks in advance.

Its possibly the vent gasket has worn out. But it only comes with the vent assembly.

Here's the vent assembly for your model:
Vent 154433001
