I have the Frigidaire Gallery FRIG2466QF4A dishwasher.
All the buttons/functions seem to work normally (it has the buttons on the top edge of door) but after pressing the Start button and closing the door, nothing happens. After a few minutes or so the lights on the display and buttons go out.
In the time/delay window it has a number "106"(I think, but I'm not sure now. I need to recheck on this). It may just be the number of minutes it will run in normal mode. I'm not sure - maybe it's an error code.

Is there a troubleshooting manual available, or way to reset it, or a "self test mode" for this dishwasher?
Any help would be appreciated.

FRID2466QF4A is not correct.

You mean FGID2466QF4A ?

If so, It sounds like possibly the door latch is broken or cracked, thus not contacting the microswitches properly, or your switch assembly.

Check the door switch and latch assembly. Make sure the door strike is going into the latch and closing the door switches.

Here is a video that should help:

When you close the door, are both microswitches on your latch closing?

When you close the door, listen carefully and you should be able to hear both clicks of the two microswitches.

Here's the door latch switch assembly for your model:
