What size should the wye barb under the sink be for this model ?? (I can't find it in manual)

Does it matter what size bar by choose for the wye on the drain here we have 1/2 in 3/4 in Builder installed half inch and a new house I don't understand why they didn't go bigger.
Not sure what thickness the drain hose is!?!?
