I have a new Frigidaire FFCD2413US Dishwasher. It ran once after installation, the it never would start again. After removing power, allowing to sit for several minutes, then restoring power, it still would not start. After much opening and closing of the door, and pushing the buttons, it finally started. It ran one cycle. Now, it refuses to start again. Once the door is latched, the Start / Cancel button has a green light that blinks for about 30 seconds, then shuts off.

I'm looking for a Service Manual ( I think Frigidaire calls it a Tech Sheet) for this unit. The repair guy can't come out for several days, I'm trying to move into a new house and I have lots of dishes, pots, and pans to wash.

Advice would also be appreciated, but I'd really like to have a service manual.

Once the door is latched, the Start / Cancel button has a green light that blinks for about 30 seconds, then shuts off.

There is a problem in your door latch or door strike, likely the later since its brand new.

Who installed this dishwasher for you? Remove the COUNTERTOP dishwasher mounting screws and see if the dishwasher starts normal every time. Make sure the dishwasher is level.

Removing the mounting screws did not change the symptoms, pushing the door closed with more than normal force (latch problem) corrects the symptoms and allows the unit to work. Will look into adjusting the latch or strike.

Ok, you will need to set up a service call to have Frigidaire come out at 1-800-374-4432 under warranty to fix it for free.

You shouldn't have to adjust the latch or strike on a brand new dishwasher.
