My problem seems similar to the one discussed here, but I can't seem to get it fixed.

The oven will preheat to the set temp. But when it comes time for the gas element to relight to hold the temp, the igniter heats up and the gas starts flowing, but it doesn't actually catch. If I open and close the door a couple times, the flame will catch, presumably thanks to air movement. But if I leave the oven alone the temp will slowly drop and the house will start smelling like gas. I've had the igniter replaced -- still not working. Could this still be the temp sensor? The guy who replaced the igniter told me he tested everything and the readings were all fine, although I didn't get details about what the readings were, and he didn't replace the sensor.

I can cook whatever I want as long as I stand beside the oven and pump the door every time it starts reheating. Obviously not sustainable. Any thoughts?

No, it wouldn't be a oven sensor issue.

When you first turn BAKE ON 350 start you start timing it, then when the gas lights stop timing it and that will give you the total time, it should NOT go over 60 seconds TOTAL TIME.:)

So what your doing is timing how long it takes to glow and then how long it takes to light in TOTAL TIME. The lower the seconds the better, 45 seconds would be optimal.:)

If it goes above 60 seconds, The problem is your bake igniter is defective, you will need to have the tech come back and replace it.

Here's the bake ignitor for your model:
Igniter 139013700

Jake -- many thanks for this. I have replaced the igniter twice, and it hasn't fixed the problem. I timed it as you suggested. When I set the oven to 350, the heating element catches after about 40 seconds. So far so good. But once it has hit 350 and attempts to relight to hold the temp, the igniter glows and the gas starts flowing but it never actually catches. Unless I pump the door open/closed a few times.

Anything else this could be?

Here's your parts diagram for the oven: Parts for Frigidaire FGGS3065PFC: Burner Parts
#18 is the bake burner, Unplug the range first!

I'd first check the small port holes on the oven bake burner assembly, lots of the small port holes may be partially clogged/gunked up, especially near the bake ignitor glow bar.

Remove the bake burner assembly and where the bake ignitor glow bar mounts to, you'll see small port holes. Take a wire brush and clean the burner assembly. Be sure to get the small port holes next to the igniter.
